Taiji (Tai chi) is much more than slow choreographed movement: it is a multidimensional mind/body/spirit exercise. Dr. Yang will discuss methods and effects of taiji and qigong practice from a traditional perspective, and address the many challenges, limitations, and potential for taiji and qigong research. His lecture will include discussion of the use of taiji and qigong for immune function, stress, depression, anxiety, fatigue, and sleep in cancer patients and survivors.
